My name is Simon Bell and this is my personal blog. I blog on a mish-mash of marketing, business, mobile and craft beersl. Here I hope to write something of interest for all of those who, like me, have a bizarre mix of professional and personal interests to juggle on a daily basis.
For about 7 years I worked in the mobile space, almost 5 of which were as Product & Partner Manager with Zamano, a leading mobile marketing solutions provider and retailer of cutting edge mobile products internationally. My primary role was to develop our product sets for internal and external client use and ultimately drive better results and value for money from our suite of products. Currently I am Proposition Manager with Sage Ireland where my role is to manage the commercial roll out and positioning 0f some great and well known accounting and payroll in the Irish SME market.
In 2012 I completed Graduate Certificate in Digital Marketing (which is the inspiration behind starting the blog) and hoping to expand my skills in all things digital marketing. I love all the new technologies involved and hoping to learn a lot more on how to use these and ultimately use them a little more!
On the personal side, I’m a husband to Jenny and Daddy to Harry & Sophie, long suffering Liverpool fan, somewhat more contented Irish Rugby fan, I play some crap golf from time to time, speak French, like to play Led Zeppelin good and loud!
